NYRA Bets is committed to promoting responsible wagering by its account holders. NYRA Bets and its affiliate The New York Racing Association, Inc. have partnered with organizations, including the National Council on Problem Gambling (“NCPG”) and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (“New York State HOPEline”), to address issues of compulsive and pathological gambling and have developed a comprehensive program to ensure account holders wager responsibly.
It is NYRA Bets’s policy not to accept wagers from underage gamblers and to limit account access to the account holder. Account holders must provide their identity, age and principal place of residence, all of which are verified through a third party information services company, upon establishing an account. Each account holder must be able to provide proper identification (account number and personal identification number) to ensure only the account holder can access his or her account.
Individuals may choose to exclude themselves from establishing an account with NYRA Bets or participating in further wagering with NYRA Bets by making a request for self-exclusion. This exclusion request must be made in writing to:
NYRA Bets
PO Box 90
Jamaica, New York 11417
The letter must be signed by the individual requesting self-exclusion and must include the following information:
Account
Number (if applicable)

Name
Address

Upon receipt of the letter, the name of the self-excluded gambler will be placed on a list of excluded persons (“Self-Exclusion List”) so as to prevent such individual from reopening his or her NYRA Bets account or from opening a new NYRA Bets account. Individuals may be removed from the Self-Exclusion List on a case-by-case basis following the receipt of written notice from such individual requesting removal.
